Comments:
I'm sheltering in place in Mendocino, CA. My station here consists of an IC-735
and a 35' high 160m dipole. I ran 100W, unassisted. I wanted to compare
contesting from here with contesting from my mtn top site, where I have several
yagis, and I run 5W. The 13dB power boost was nowhere near enough compensation
for the difference in site and antennas. This was a very interesting experiment.
