First off, it was simply fun to be out of the house and playing uW. What a
great aspect of our great hobby! I activated three grids on Saturday and just
one grid on Sunday for a total for four grids, EN44, 43, 33, and 34, all in
southeastern MN. The weather was outstanding with about average uW conditions.
No digital on this rove, all Q's were SSB, CW (yes!), and one FM. Given how
busy I was I'm not sure given my route and operating plans that digital would
have helped much, YMMV. With the band multiplier factor, 3456 was my largest
point band with 19,420 pts from 10 Q's, 10G was next with 18,294 pts from 15
Q's, then 902 with 14,992 pts from 18 Q's. Of course the most number of Q's
were made on 432 with 46 Q's for 9,011 pts followed by 222 with 31 Q's for
13,484 pts. Always a thrill to peak up on those weak CW signals. 73, Jon
