Comments:
Add 32 CW and 1 SSB on 160.
Op time excluded family dinner and a potty crisis for the 2-year-old.
160 was a great addition to this year's event. After 10pm, 75 gets noisy and
crowded, and sometimes we get forgotten about on 40. Historically OQP can
"slow down a bit" during this window, and this helped fill that
nicely. The powers that be will see the aggregate numbers and agree or not.
10 and 15 were duds...I tried the even/odd hours thing per tradition...nothing.
There were enough Clermont/Warren/Butler stations that I probably could have
made something happen but I don't "coordinate" in the spirit of the
rules.
It took a long time to get casual contest ops (or even non-contest ops) to pitch
in and get the "rare ones" on the air...but it's definitely happening
in recent years.
I'm not the CW op that some of y'all are, thanks for your patience this year and
always!
