IC-7610 + Acom 1000 + 3 ele Steppir + 80M vertical
Considering the pace of FT contesting, that was a lot of fun. Plenty to work in
all directions on each band short of 15M. A-index soared putting anything above
20M to sleep here -- listened and called on 15M and never heard a peep.
I was surprised to see FT4 pretty much absent on 40M and 80M in the final six
hours though there were lots of 40M FT4 operators earlier in the evening. Both
of those bands went long and were pretty good DX-wise through the wee hours
here.
Next year, the high bands will be in the mix so things will get really
interesting.
