Comments:
Compromise antennas, 100 watts, and FT4 do not mix! A TA-33 at 20 feet, and a
17-foot tall Inverted L for low bands, do not lend to easily making FT4
contacts, as seen from my log: only 6 FT4 versus 132 FT8. Many CQs on FT4
yielded nada, and trying to call someone was frustrating. Even FT8 was at times
less than fruitful. Only worked 20, 40, and a little 80. Listened for a few
seconds on 160; nothing there. Did not even try 15 and 10 with this pea-whistle
setup. Next time I'll have to go High Power to more succesfull.
80 = 19 Qs; 40 = 55 Qs; 20 = 64 Qs. 8 hours 45 minutes. SOLP All Bands
