My portable operation from Grays Harbor was a last minute add on to a razor clam
trip. At 5:30am Saturday headed to the coast, dug my limit of clams at low tide
then parked off the highway near Humptulips. I knew I would not get out well
with a 20 meter mobile whip but I did not realize just how poorly it would
transmit. After about 40 minutes mostly on cw I packed it in.
