Another little jump in there. 160 bothered for last 10 minutes by huge buzz that
went away after the test. Lost a minute or two, adjusting NB's on both RX to
blank it, but able to carry on after that.
Thanx all Q's and patience. Will have Trident L tuning on 80 as well as 40/160
next week and can do the usual 40 -> 80 -> 160 routine. Replacing the
tuner support with a permanent elevated Lexan base. Trident L working FB on 40.
Trident L on 40 versus old faithful 40m Inv Vee SS antenna, apex at 55 feet, is
about the same anywhere west, and decidedly better to Europe. So goal of 40m on
160m Inverted L over FCP has been met. CWT is the proof. EXCELLENT proving
ground.
