Comments:
Surprisingly beat last year by about 3k points and 32 Q's but 8 less mults.
Went into Sunday needing FUL & LAW counties. Wrkd FUL at 9:30am and not
sure how it went down but somebody must have talked Joe, N3WH, from Butler
County to slide over to Lawrence as many guys needed it. I was lucky and just
happened to be tuning 75 looking for a freq to CQ and heard somebody mention
Lawrence. I asked and somebody said hang on it would be on in a minute. I
might have been the 2nd guy to work him. I told him to hang on to his socks as
I was going to call him out and a huge pileup ensued. Glad I didn't have to
contend with that, hi. This happened at 3:30pm. I then found my run freq and
wrkd another LAW at 4pm then another at 4:30pm when K8MR called me from LAW.
Feast or famine.
Had a great time and wrkd lots of my regular cw guys on ssb so surely some of
those Q's had to be our firsts with a few of them. It also seems I am not as
rare anymore from TIO as there were 4 other stns on which I guess is kinda
necessary if I want to sweep all 67 counties but someone mentioned that I was
probably the loudest, hi. Thanks to the rovers & mobiles for giving
everyone a shot at lots of mults & Q's. 73 from TIO
