Wow I sure wish I was prepared for this one. Friday night was awesome.
I worked some JA's on 15, first time in several years. 20 gave me
China and a couple YB's. A quick refresh of memories of times gone by.
It has been many years since I last operated all bands in CQ WW SSB.
Thing is I had mucho audio problems and then rotor gave out on Saturday
about 6:30 pm local time. My rotors have been brought down to ground level.
So I just went out and loosened rotor clamp turned mast NE tightened and
clamp so I was good for Sunday morning. When it was daylight and warmer
I took out Tailtwister, took it apart, fixed problem and put it back in tower.
I didn't take contest that seriously any way, so why not. I sure do take CQ WW
CW seriously and now feel prepared, and relieved that this is last SSB contest
for about 6 months. Oh yea I also got a Cold Tuesday, at least that was mild by
Friday night. Golly but I sure hope 10 and 15 are as good for CW as this was for
73 and Good Morning from Alabama BoB WA1FCN

6 months.
I now feel prepared for CQ WW CW, that I do take seriously.
