Again, local people were working stations I could not hear. Has me wondering
anew if I have something set wrong in the radio. Fun enough, though, and a few
interesting QSOs. Old friends, and some new calls. I got called by one fellow
who was "not in the contest" but was happy to give me QSO #2 (and a
new mult, worked again later). He did not even know contesting basics (running
vs. S&P), but I took a few minutes to explain Sprint to him and urged him to
have fun. I later heard him CQing and making another QSO. That's reward
enough.
