Comments:
The rebuilt balun on the Carolina Windom didn't solve the high SWR above 250W,
so I ran 100W for this SS.
A new ferrite rod is coming this week, so I'll rebuild the balun again. The
ferrite is the ONLY part I haven't replaced, and the entire transmission line
from the rig to the PL-259 that connects to the balun handles 500W without
problem.
There were many interruptions, so my BIC time was limited. Still, I'm happy to
net the Qs and mults I did.
44 (21%) of my Qs were with PVRC members. Go PVRC!
