Comments:
First time ever on 160 from a home station. Put an old 160M mod kit on a
Butternut vertical, not ideal, with a 2:1 bandwidth of about 10 KHz! But it
loaded up ok. Ran low power (with an MFJ autotuner)since I had no idea if the
caps on the Butternut kit would hold up. Since I had no BW I retuned quite
often but also tried running as much as S&P. Lots of new calls worked. I've
usually done this contest from a local multi-op (with a much higher score) but
had lotsa fun!
