Comments:
Recently put up a 160M inverted V (apex at 50 feet and ends abt 30 ft) for my
first 160M contest. Amazing participation and was generally pleased with the
antenna results. Easily worked many stations but only a few Cal (ORG &
SCV), Sec 7(AZ, ID, MT, WWA and UT). DX included ZF2WF, ZF5T, XE2X and C6AGU.
Missed VE(BC,MAR,MB,NL,NT). Surprised when breaking a pileup calling K7UT(UT) on
Saturday night. FB!
Equipment worked OK except Murphy struck N1MM Friday night. The macros got
corrupted and the ESM feature was sending a different message. Had to disable
the ESM feature and degrade to manual operation and hand keying. Restored N1MM
by reloading the function key file name. Sorry for any confusion.
