Comments:
This one was a little disappointing. Started by running on 40, but when there
were only 3 QSOs in the log after the first 5 minutes, I went to 80. The 80
meter run was reasonably good, but there were only a couple of activity spurts
that pushed the 10-minute rate meter over 200. Due to incoming weather the band
was pretty noisy with lots of static crashes. Using diversity receive with the
Beverage on one channel really helped in pulling calls out of the noise. My
minimum goal for the session was 120, which I just barely made. Hope things are
better next week. Merry Christmas to all.
