Comments:

I spent 3 minutes on 20m trying to get AJ6V or W0YK to hear me,
no luck.

40m sounded good and active - but I had terrible luck, I couldn't
win a pileup, could hardly get recognized even with no pileup, and
got no answers to my CQs. What's going on?!

Then I remembered, earlier this week I was helping someone setup
for RTTY RU and we had discussed how to reduce the audio TX level
in SmartDAX and the DAX Reserved Audio TX (Flex users understand).

Sure enough, my TX level is way down, so I'm about 8 dB below my
usual setting. OK, I guess that explains it. I stopped at 02Z
to fix it, rather than venture onto 80m or 160m. I seem to
have it back to full level and QRP power - what a relief!
Sorry for straining your decoders this week. Maybe its good
practice?
