Comments:
Antennas and tower are still coated with rime ice from prior weeks wx. Overcast
days have prevented much melting. Had to use the 7300 auto-tuner but it didn't
like the impedance it saw on the 40m yagi when I tried to use it on 15, so those
qso's were at qrp level. Still, worked KP2 and KP4 on that band!
I couldn't seem to get any traction early. Once the low bands came to life, it
got fun. The RX antenna direction control box got a lot of use when I was on 80
and 160. Sorry for a few glitches in some of the exchanges when I was going
through the directions.
Icom 7300, 100w
2el 40m yagi (XM-240) @ 95'
4el 20m yagi (homebrew) @ 85'
Bent wire vertical for 80m
Shunt fed tower for 160m
4 direction terminated loop RX antenna for 80 and 160.
Thanks for the qsos!
73,
Charlie N9CO
