Comments:
Strange and interesting contest. Activity continues to be amazing. This is
"the" domestic contest in the winter, definitely. The rules are
great, it is so much fun trying to get a decent multiplier.
Sad to work so many Daves. RIP.
15 meters didn't open to the midwest from here. No Ohio or Illinois. Likewise
the California on 20 meters was a nonfactor in this contest. When the skip is
just a little shorter I can do very well there.
80 and 160 were terrible here - like there was a 30 dB attenuator on everything.
People seemed to hear me but everyone was super weak. 40m had a "sucked
out" sound fairly early in the evening as well. Glad that we have moved
the CW Sprint time ahead one hour next month. It will be better.
My second radio blew up (again), but this time it waited until almost the end of
the contest. Finished out the contest with one radio.
