Comments:
100 W, dipoles up 20-30', Vibroplex bug for all CW Qs
Conditions seemed pretty good, although 20 m phone was very crowded. I was able
to get all 12 slots with N0ANE, Mike in Nicollet county (just across the river),
which is the first time I've filled 12 slots with someone during a contest in a
long time.
At one point I found a clear frequency on 20 m phone, and a few minutes later a
caller mentioned there was a second station on frequency. After we worked, I
yielded the frequency to the other station, K0BBC/M. The skip zone is real!
This was the most contacts I've made in MNQP for several years, and rates were
reasonable most of the day. Thanks for all the fun!
