Comments:
Low power to conserve electricity. It was interesting because signals were not
particularly strong on 40 or 20. Not much out of the Texas area - they are
covered with snow and ice. Started on 40, but could not establish a frequency
so went to 20 after just 5 minutes. Lots of CQing, but there are some pretty
strong signals on the band. At 1919Z still could not get a run going. Went back
to 40 at 1921Z. Only ran a few stations, then S&P. At 1935Z went back to
20 and could only work a few, so back to 40. Only 5 minutes of run and it dried
out so S&P. Whew. This really shows where my antennas stack up. (or
don't)
