IC-7610 + Acom 1000 + Steppir 3/40
Two or three hours playing on 40M and 20M before NAQP RTTY. Was slow going and
about 1/3 of stations (maybe more) dropped out with incomplete QSOs so didn't
make it into the log.
Treated this as a shakeout for N1MM running WSJT-X (2.4 RC1), and once again it
worked flawlessly.
I really want to like FTx contesting but it still feels very casual. Hoping it
will be an entry point for new contesters to get a taste and try other contests
in other modes. Better bands and more participation will warrant more serious
time commitment, but we're not yet there.
