Comments:
This one was a real whuppin'. Incoming weather gave me a lot of QRN on both 80
and 40 meters. Started running on 40 and it was very slow. Unfortunately, the
thunderstorm noise made it impossible to do effective SO2R -- I really needed
diversity reception to hear through the QRN. The rate picked up and the noise
abated somewhat as the session progressed. I was actually surprised to break 120
QSOs. There were an unusually high number of dupes this time, including one
station who worked me THREE times. Guess he was logging on paper. Hope
conditions are better for 1900Z. See you then.
