Comments:
Saturday was very fb WX here in KY. I spent a couple of hours during the day
walking around the contest location looking at future antenna possibilities.
Planning 80m 4 square this year, I determined the final spot for it during the
walkabout. Time to start work on it soon! I think I have been threatening to do
this for several years now :-) .
Conditions were pretty rough, sorry for all the repeat requests. Some storm QRN
but the majority of the issues were related to the space WX.
20 meters once again the money band here. Was hoping 20m would open up into deep
Asia for new potential Oblasts/Mults Sunday morning local time, but no such
luck. Just started getting good when it was time to shut down and end the
contest. 40 was rough, very noisy. 80 and 160 were very poor as well. 10/15 was
just spent working whatever SA and Caribbean mults I could find.
I wish there was more participation from NA, that would really help bring up the
QSO count. Had a great time on the radio overall though!
