Comments:
Absolutely abysmal condx. Not much fun when a contest starts with K=5 and drops
to 4 only occasionally. Heard quite a few Russians on 40m early evening with
tons of echo but only working the loud sigs south and east of here. Directional
rx antennas didn't help much. Couldn't raise any no matter where the beam was
aimed. The perils of living in the Black Hole near the aurora line I guess. Only
a decent EU run on Saturday morning got the juices flowing.
