Comments:
*UnAssisted* single radio, single band, one antenna, one operator P/T [Old
School] operation! Had limited time and 10m/15m seemed in tough shape recently
so 20m it was.
Few QSOs made on Day 1 (under 15%) as I had other commitments. Only able to
manage a short Run with CQs mid-afternoon on Sunday Day 2 for 20 mins ... over
90% of QSOS made via S & P. Concentrated on non-NA QSOs for points -- just
45 USA + 7 VE in the log = 22%. Took some 30 minute breaks that won't show up
in official op-time calculation results due to minimum 60 minute off-time
requirement for WPX. End result: 2.52 pts per QSO average (593 QSO points).
20m band was PACKED for the entire usable 200 Khz throughout the opening to Eu
... tough sledding for rate with 2 element beam and 100 watts on SSB!! But had
fun anyway -- TNX for the QSOs!
