Comments:
Started 5 hours late after finishing hardware upgrade/re-configuration, then
discovered logging didn't work. Discovered very quickly what was good and what
was bad with the new setup.
Missed prime time on 6M FT8, tried to make up time. Need to streamline change
from FT8 to SSB. Gave away a lot of FM chances due to logging and mode change
difficulties. 6M dead Sunday, 2M/440 FM brought a few local contacts. Lost 1296
preamp a few days before the contest, and missed some of the local
"easy" contacts.
The contest is moving towards a 6M FT8 contest, looking forward to more 2M
and up FT8 or ?? digital modes.
