Comments:
Conditions on 50 MHz are probably better,
while there is a widespread opening from
Finland to Eastern USA, but my low corner
reflector is fixed to 205 degrees, so not
very useful for that azimuth. Thus I decided
to try SST again. Activity seemed quite low.
On 14 MHz I head K1DJ at the start, then wkd
CT7AUP G3WZD N3QE. Then SF6W came booming in.
With signals lacking and zero response on CQ,
I changed to 7 MHz. It was initially deserted,
but then I heard PA0INA working SF6W, both with
booming signals, and got SM0HEV and DL3JST/MM
on my CQ. Conditions to Britain were good with
G3WZD again and G4VME, but QRN was bad.
Back to 14 MHz for the last two minutes: Terry
K3JT worked with a good signal from West VA...
Cheers/73, Zaba OH1ZAA #1856 CWops
