Comments:
It was nice to have K2GO-Tom remote in from Incheon, S. Korea and KU1CW-Alex,
remote, from Vancouver, Washington. Jeff-K0ZR and Paul-N4PD furnished excellent
generators. Neither blinked the whole weekend. (The generators.)
Bill-W3UL made the long trek around DC, from Annapolis, MD to the W4RN QTH in
the Northern VA countryside just under the Blue Ridge. His great coax supply
saved the day.
With three positions going at full speed a lot of the time, it was amazing to
watch how quickly the score increased. We are CW guys and, are all PVRC members
so, it was a CW-only effort. Only one op told us to "PSE CPY." The
Sunday openings on 10M & 15M were excellent and having a 2-stack of 5 el
yagis on 10M and a 5 el at 85' on 15M was a great advantage.
Many thanks to W4RN's XYL, Charlene (ex-WP2AAF) for the excellent food all
weekend.
Also, thanks for all the Qs. Lots of fun and great fellowship in the world's
best hobby.
