Comments:

This is a summary of my specific operation as a part of operating
using the callsign K6QLF for the Amateur Radio Club of Alameda.
WQ6X ran a classic ICOM-7000 into a 50-ft high sloper from the
mast-top of a 42 foot sloop moored at the Aeolian Yacht Harbor
in Alameda, specifically to run Field Day. KC2YOT ran a CW
operation from his boat two slips down. Inter-station QRM
was sometimes a "bit of a problem"; which we worked around.
The number of Class-D and Class-E stations was ENORMOUS.
People were surprised by our 3-B exchange and on Ssb,
seemed to experience DIFFICULTY with the "QLF" portion
of our callsign - QUEBEC LONDON FOXTROT.
