Comments:

Nice conditions this weekend and was nice to have all the bands open for a
change. 15m pulled its weight with good openings to EU and JA, even some EU on
10m. 20m was open all night to EU, with strong signals from zones 29 and 30. I
did this one last year at LP, which was hard work, so I used the amp this time,
ahh!!

I did this contest from my home QTH rather than my contest station. There is
nothing special about my set up, a JK mid-tri with 40m add on, on the 75' tower
and an XR-7 with 40m add on on the 65' tower. 80m and 160m are just an Alpha
Delta DX-A at about 60' and a 200' BOG for RX. In the vein of full disclosure,
my QTH is on top of a nice hill, but don't all hams live on a hill:-) I also
received my new K4 about 3 weeks ago and wanted to put it through it's paces in
a contest. I already had it hooked up here. I was very pleased with how
everything worked. The K4 is a very good radio and now I have a decision to make
on my 6600m. I really like both. Too many radios, too little time.

Thanks for the QSO's.
