Comments:
Very enjoyable contest with all six bands open at times. Very glad to be able
to work Europe on 15 and 10M. Beam is broken, so antennas were all single
element wires. Missed some in the daytime to join in a family birthday
celebration. Slept about three hours from 4 to 7 AM. Bands were nearly dead or
worked out at 4 AM, but were quite lively for the last hour. Probably should
have taken my rest break an hour earlier and gotten up an hour earlier, but that
would have been contrary to past experiences when the bands were mostly useless
at the 6 to 7 AM hour. Good activity on CW and I hope there was good phone
activity also. Thanks for all QSOs. Looking forward to a lot of QSOs in CQ VHF
