Comments:

this was my first real SOAB contest in many years even though it was only for 8
hrs total. Really fun. LP - 90w using my backyard Butternut. Was on the first
1.5 hrs, then other hours hear and there. Ran about 25% of the time, but other
than a 25 minute episode on 20 where I had a 180 10 minute rate once and held
frequency, I did not have good runs so S&P the rest of the time.

I think having NN5P as a call helped because the stations I was calling
recognized the NN sound and came back rather than ignoring my weak signal of
conventional characters. A number of stations - especially DX - kept giving AGN
or NN? when they could have ignored me. Was able to work EU pretty well, and got
into Israel, Bulgaria, Serbia, and ZL OK. JAs were loud to me but I was
unsuccessful with JAs pretty much. I was even spotted a few times (if you do LP,
this is rare in a 'test).
