FT-891 with 6m aluminum dipole
FT-817ND with Elk 2M/440L5 log periodic

I picked up an FT-891 for running more power on 6m in these contests and to end
the freezer packs stacked on my FT-817 that keep it from overheating. I still
used my FT-817 for 2m squares on Sunday afternoon when 6m closed up.

6m band enhancements all over the place Saturday. Good thing because on Sunday
the band got weak mid morning and didn't come back until an hour after the end
of the contest.

I ran the FT-891 at 50 watts on FT8 all weekend and it did everything I asked it
to do. My 50 MHz antenna is the 6m dipole I built 9 years ago of aluminum stock,
coax, and PVC. The SWR stayed around 1.4:1.

My highest QSO and grid count of any contest, and my first non-QRP VHF contest
effort. Thanks for the QSOs.
