I knew going into this I wouldn't be able to operate full time. But local
thunderstorms and lots of lightning delayed my entry even more. My first QSO
was at 0100 Z on 20M. Continued noise from nearby storms on 40 and 80 made copy
difficult. Sorry for many repeats to complete the Q.
I used the name "Chris" to honor my sister who passed away very
suddenly four weeks ago in New England. Her birthday would have been Monday, 9
August.
