Fun contest with 10 bands...222->24gnz + 121. Hogback, FM08us, is an
outstanding location -- K1WHS (801km)and K1TEO (517km)on 222 w/ 6 ele beam and
50W cw. Their capability helped! High humidity allowed only 1 24G QSO.
Working closer stations, 100-200 km on 3456 and 5760 added points. However, my
move to FM19aw on the S side was a mistake...too much green so points were much
lower there. I need to 'graduate' from a tripod approach to one using a
rotator. In and out of a van uses up too much energy. But I've still got plenty
for 10up! Hope you're on!
