First operation from my new QTH! Tnx to Ron, N0AT for being my first QSO here
in Mayfield Village, Ohio, grid square EN91gn.
I was very glad not to hear any excessively loud QRN (you never know when moving
into a new neighborhood). Lucky for me, I don't any neighbors (yet), as this is
the 1st of 52 homes planned for the area. I was worried about the nearby high
voltage transmission line and Flo's (that's the 'Flo' from Progressive
Insurance) new solar array (which may not be functioning yet, looks like they
are still in the installation phase).
Portable setup on the covered patio...IC-706, Bioenno battery, Wolf River
portable vertical (~18 ft tall) with two radials below.
