Comments:
Decided to give 80 meters a try this time since I had no time to play radio
during the day. I also wanted to get a better feel for how well my station plays
on 80 meters for DX with only 100 watts. Mainly concentrated on working
multipliers and VE stations. Friday night felt like I was running QRP and
struggled to work only the loudest EU stations. Signals seemed better Saturday
evening and was able to EU more easily. Managed to work ZL on Sunday morning.
Heard many JA's and one VK but unable to work any of them. However I did work
VK6LW two days before the contest. Thanks to all for patiently getting me into
their logs !
Flex 6600M/100W and single 80 meter end fed half wave wire antenna with apex at
50 feet.
