Comments:
I was not going to operate much in this contest but my local noise was way down,
especially compared to the weekend of CQWWCW. Putting 60 radials under my
inverted L this fall seems to have been worth the effort. I spent quite a bit of
time trying to find the cause of my Acom 2000a arc faults on 160. This resulted
in numerous CQ's in the early afternoon Saturday to test my various attempts at
a solution. I was really surprised at all the stations that I worked at that
time. A T93M common mode choke inserted very close to the feedpoint appears to
have worked. Time will tell....
