Comments:

It is always an adventure to operate on 160 meters and doing so from the capable
N6RO station is a privilege. The wire four-square, beverages and SAL30 performed
well and were used in various combinations, including diversity. Two of the
three operators were remote and we experienced no problems at all. We hadn't
planned a serious effort and got a late start, but still ended up operating most
of the contest (though six hours less than last year).

Domestic band conditions seemed good the first night (despite some noise), but
quite poor the second night, with very little East Coast workable and even W9,
W8 and W4 difficult. We did manage to work all ARRL sections except NT, though
MAR and NL were quite weak.

We always appreciate the DX stations who participate, but this year's DX band
conditions were especially poor. Europe was never heard either night, though
EA8 was logged with ESP and TM6M may have been trying to call me the second
night, but I could not pull the callsign out. The only Asia was JA this year (24
worked.)

DX worked: C6,CO,EA8,FM,HI,JA,LU,PJ2,TI,V3,XE,ZF

Thanks to Ken and Matt for doing a great job with the overnight hours.
