Comments:
Was hoping for a repeat of last year when Friday was hopping. Was not to be. We
had a similar opening to that on Saturday but not as long. Did have a nice, but
short, opening to EU on Saturday morning. Tried to open again on Sunday but only
a handful of EU worked.
Saturday's opening to the west coast (well, everything west of the Miss) was
nice and fun. Good rates too!
A few (too few!) African stations on. That is always a nice surprise.
Sunday was not nearly as fun as Saturday. Worked 682 of the Qs before Sunday. A
nice surprise was working several VK stations. All were loud but, at times, QSB
made copy a bit difficult.
Glad everything worked well. And glad so many folks got on to exercise the band.
Hope to work everyone in the Stew Perry contest next weekend!
