Hi everyone,
I have started very late saturday morning, I made 8 QSO and lost the motivation
to continue despite all the EU stations on QRG (what a pity...). I leaved the
shack to make anything else. I went back to the shack in the afternoon - just at
the right moment to work few US (9 differents states) & two DX (ZD7, PJ4)
stations. Finally I only made 29 QSO saturday.
The propagation conditions were really poor Sunday with lots of fast and deep
QSB (typical of "Meteor Scatter mode" propagation), so I decided to
"chase" signals instead of RUNNING. I was finally able to QSO few more
MULTI (+ 2 others states). Not sure I made these QSO with these MULTI if I was
in "RUN"...
Best DX: one VK station sunday morning and a K0 station from Nebraska sunday
evening, one hour after sunset despite the deep and fast QSB. Not so bad for a
small 4el OWA-yagi which is only at 10m AGL...
Thanks for reading my small contribution, take care of you and yours, and see
you next time in contests (especially on the "TEN").
