Comments:
Murphy had me at the beginning of the contest, I have a bad run of coax on my
main radio. I was able to run another coax and get on the air, but it is
definitely temporary!
Had lots of fun and work lots of stations. All search and pounce, but I had some
pretty good runs doing that with both radios on different bands. It was nice
that 10 was open for a bit and 15 wasn't as long as it usually is. I did well on
20 with the other radio when I took the main radio to 40 and ran up and down the
band a lot on there. 809 was really good and even a bit quiet for me. I even
worked ZF on 5 bands, missing 10 meters. Thanks for copying my signal through
the noise...
Speaking of noise, the electric company pole down the street was real noisy
today on radio 2 to the north west. I reported it to them the first of December
and have contacted them about it since. I could hear HI and WA on that antenna,
but with S7 noise, it wasn't easy. I am calling them this week again because
this is out of hand.
73, Craig KD9MS
