100W + Dipole
In preparation for the winter storm we had this past weekend, I did some antenna
maintenance, including replacing some old/questionable rope with newer/better
rope and in the process got my 20m dipole up probably 10 ft. higher than it was
previously -- it's probably at least 75 ft. up off the ground now. However, in
this (brief) activity, it didn't seem to have helped at all, as I struggled to
run for the most part as compared to the morning session on 40m. In recent weeks
I had VK, etc. call in to me in the 19Z session, but it wasn't meant to be this
week.
Hope to have a good hour later tonight on 80m.
