Comments:
Just like last year, I was a little late getting to 40 because I was having so
much fun on the high bands. Also like last year, 40 faded fairly early. It was
all fun up to that point, and then I listened to 75. 75 was covered in S9+20
QRN from some weird consumer device. It didn't look or sound like line noise,
but it essentially rendered the whole band almost useless. By using spotting
assistance, I could hear some of the multipliers, and was able to work a few.
160 was also very noisy, and I was able to work only a few stations, almost all
west of the Mississippi.
Basically, the first 8 hours were super fun, and the last 2 hours were an
agonizing slog.
