Comments:
This was a fun event! First time participating in WFD. Not a big fan of leaving
the house when it's super cold. Shack temp hit 71F during the night shift on
Saturday so I turned on some extra heat to get things back up to a decent
78-80F.
Missed Sections: SJV, SB, OR, WY, MT, ND, AK, HI, NT. BC, SK, MB, NL,
PR, VI and ... Maine.
Using the Flex 6600 made switching between bands and modes a breeze. I haven't
made a PSK contact in years, one thing I wish is that people would tighten up
the exchanges a little bit and leave out a lot of extraneous stuff. But, that's
perhaps a topic to cover in a Contest University forum.
Missed getting RTTY on 15, CW and PSK on 10. Got RTTY and SSB on 10 in the last
minutes of the contest. Could have potentially had CW/RTTY/PSK/SSB on 160, but I
did not have 160 at home again this year (thus why I was not in the CQ160
contest).
