Comments:
I started learning CW in November 2021 and have now completed my first CW
contest.
I said I would only listen and hopefully learn something, but after a few hours
what seemed impossible to copy started making sense as I was able to pick up
some letters and numbers. The abbreviations for power reports did catch my
attention but I was able to consult with others in the contest about that.
I'll be honest I did use some software for assistance like the cluster and CW
get but I still had to listen to confirm that the call was correct, which I
found many busted calls or different stations calling CQ. Overall I it was fun
and a great learning experience. Hopefully down the road I won't need any
assistance.
