Adding the KPA500 to the station last Fall seems to have created a new problem:
I now get out better on 40m & 80m than I can hear. I know there were more
stations calling that I just couldn't pick out. Apologies if I sounded like an
alligator.
As others have mentioned, 10m was disappointing. I had the second
VFO/RSP/Waterfall on 10m for a good part of the weekend. Only 19 Qs on 10m on
Saturday and 16 on Sunday.
Lots of JAs spotted on 15/20/40, but only managed Qs on 20m (2x) and 40m (1x).
Similarly, I only managed to work VK on 40m (2x) and 15m (1x), and ZL on 15m
(1x). It was a nice surprise to work KH6 on 10m (5x) on Sunday. Having the
second VFO/RSP/Waterfall on 10m paid off! Called a few ZLs during the same
opening but couldn't get their attention.
