Comments:
Hi guys,
my OC Stari Laf, Branko 9A2KD and me entered the contest to test our ability in
MS w/o any ambition. We spend Friday evening tuning our 160/80/40 inband fan
dipol - unfortunately we still have some swr issue on 80 - maybe in switch box.
We had the issue with Microham drivers before the contest too - my mistake to
upgrade software just before the contest. :( Fortunately resolved this with
spare laptop, so we being in the air just a minut before 0000z. There was no
further issues.
The propagations ware ok on Saturday while on Sunday it fell somewhat. On Sunday
we barely made two QSOs at 10m. Maybe we pushed a little too much 15, at the
expense of 20m which closed too early. We are not happy with the number on 40,
but even here we pushed the 160 and 80 a little too much. The inband was the
best at 40 where we passed the easiest with a dipole. We also did some inband on
80 barefoot using internal ATU.
All in all it was good fun.
