Comments:
I started the contest just the way I wanted to, with 61 Qs before the sun went
down on Friday night. I felt loud. I was getting from PE to FL and all in
between with no problems. I was thinking of 500+ contacts.
And then it got dark, and my contest was over. I never had an hour over 20 Q's
the rest of the way.
Congrats to W3LL on a great score!
The RF curtain this weekend was up for me along the 100th Meridian. Other than
AZ, I didn't hear a thing from out West. I didn't have enough 'magic moments'
where you suddenly get the attention of a station and they figure out your call
one letter at a time.
But it was still fun. And I'll bang my head against the wall in ARRL SSB too.
