Was unwell leading into the event, found by wings after a few hours and
leveraged simply brilliant conditions. This brought back the same rush as
operating VK9XD in 2004/2005. The VJ2J callsign threw a people, missed a couple
II?WRTC stations, as they swung their beam to Canada and then sweet nothings..
Did snare one II?WRTC station however..
Great to see a whole bunch working VK for the first time, and feel their
excitement within the limited exchanges we had.
Was it me, or was everyone much more polite this year.. Oh, GREAT to see a
SP/UTxxx station on air !! I wish everyone well, and to those that want to hurt,
I ask to try kindness.
