Thanks to the Northern Ohio DX Association for use of their club call for WPX.
It does not mean "NO DX" :-)
A very part time effort. Officially it's more like 10 hours, as I had assumed 30
minute off times, which is not the case. On Saturday we had a memorial service
for my sister-in-law's daughter, plus family time afterwards. On Sunday we had a
bridge tournament, which fortunately for radio (but not for bridge) we lost in
the morning session so we did not play in the afternoon. I did get a lot of yard
work in on Sunday between operating times.
Propagation keeps teasing us, with great flux numbers before but barely above
100 for the contest. So I keep dreaming of running EU on 10 meters. But at least
it is better than a few years ago, being able to run EU on 15. A K index of 5 at
the start did not help either.
